New CID Cosmetics Review

Hey Beauties!
I received these products last week and have been trying them out and to be honest I quite like them. New CID Cosmetics seems to be quite a relatively new brand, I've not seen much hype about their products but i have to admit they are of good quality.

I received a selection of their products ranging from eye products to face products and lips! I had heard a bit about these products from Pampered Prince (Andy) who has written a blog post on the Primer because I had gotten mine and thought it sounded awesome.

From Left to Right:
i-gel- Granite, Graphite, Carbon
 i-bronze in Rio
i-colour in Colbalt and Crystal Quartz,
i-shine in Kir Royal,
i-prime foundation primer

i-gel in Granite, Graphite, Carbon (£22 for 0.95g)  is a different type of gel liner as usually gel liners are quite thick but this one is sooo creamy like butter, its not super pigmented you have to go over it a few times but once you do get the level of opacity its not coming off. I used it on my hand to see how long it would last and it lasted quite long about 7/8 hours before it started to wear off now for a gel eyeliner that is great wear time!

The only thing i dont like about this product is that you dont even get 1g of product your paying £22 for less than a gram. You would need to pay about £65+ to get near the amount of product you would if it were the size of MAC Fluid line (3g)

i-bronze in Rio (£23 for 6g) is a soft bronze with bits of pink and coral contained in it, to me its just your average bronzer really. Its not overly shimmery although you can see it in the pressed powder you cant see it when applied to the face it just gives a really natrual tanned glowy finish! I like this because it doesnt have to much orange/red tones in it which i think is great because no one wants to look orange, New CID describes it as
"The unique marbelised formulation means this bronzer has swirls of bronze, golds, pinks and chocolate browns to give the perfect colour for practically all skin tones. This also means that by sweeping you brush over different areas of your bronzer, it will suit your skin tone all year round."

I love these little pots of i-colour (£14.50 for 5g), They have a range of vibrant bases that claim they will not crease but unless they set everything creases. I love using these as bases before I put a powder eyeshadow on top it just gives it more of a pop and something to grab on to. These colours are gorgeous and vibrant, Cobalt is a gorgeous royal blue shimmer they arnt glittery just really shimmery and metallic. Crystal Quartz is kind of like an antique gold not to much yellow to make it horrible though its a really nice gold

The i-shine lipgloss in Kir Royal (£12.50 for 8ml) is a mauve pink which looks quite bright in the pot but on the lips it just looks like a really sheer pink gloss with a high shine. These kind products facinate me because its a solid lipgloss in a pot i havent seen anything as good as this apart from the Kevyn Aucoin Elegent Lipgloss Pots. These have an ok lasting time but you will have to keep reapplying like any other gloss, they arnt overly sticky but because they are so shiny they are a bit sticky

Last but not least the Foundation Primer, i-prime. (£28 for 30ml) I absolutely love this if you know me you will know that i love a good primer! my current favourite is the Daniel Sandler Retexturizing Primer but this primer is so soft and it feels like silk. The i-prime is supposed to dull down your imprefections, fine lines and make your skin feel smother, when applying it i like to apply to parts of the face that need it wait for a while for it to be absorbed then apply foundation, you can tell straight away that the skin is smoother and the foundation just glides on

Ooooh those lip gloss pots will definitely be getting put on my wish list! They look quite similar to the Topshop Lip Polishes too but hopefully less sticky. Loved this post :) x
