The Art of Male Makeup by David Horne

When I had heard about the book David Horne was releasing a book i was really excited because there really isn't anything for men out there in terms of makeup.
I love this book simply because it shows men in makeup but not in a feminine way but in a masculine way
Its such a great idea because it lets me see that you can use makeup in an expressive way and still look masculine because i find a lot of the time the things that are shown to men can be quite feminising to the face whereas this is quite the opposite.

This book is a 66 page godsend each page has a specific male makeup look and then a face chart and the colour palette that was used on the model. David Horne worked with a team when creating this book he worked with the amazing Spob O'Brien and Mark Bowles.

I have added a few photos below of the looks i loved as a sort of taster to the book.

I love this look not only because hes gorgeous haha! but because the makeup looks very angular and defined i particularly love the eyes

As you can see this book was put together by a very talented team, i think that this book is very important because it shows you that you can look masculine in makeup. There are a lot of feminising terms in makeup such as "guyliner, manscara, manscaping" etc and i think those terms just lean to the fact that people think that makeup should be a woman thing instead of just calling them what they are

You can order this book from David Horne by contacting: hausofhorne@yahoo.com and costs £25
