HiF Hydration Support Cleansing Conditioner Review

HiF Hydration Support Cleansing Conditioner Review

Hey Beauties!

If you can't tell but im obsessed with my hair and how it looks and feels. Being someone who has thick coarse hair i need a product/s that will help to combat the coarse frizziness that is my hair. I recently had the chance to try out a brand that is really new to me called HIF which stands for Hair is Fabric. Think of HIF Cleansing Conditioners as dry cleaning for your hair. In only one step HIF deep cleanses with cleansing fractions instead of common detergents while a long list of conditioning technologies, exotic oils, hyaluronic acid and precious rock extracts leave the hair in prime condition.

Hydration Support is great for those of you who need a little moisture in your life it contains a low-molecular weight hyaluronic acid in which moisture is delivered to the scalp to hydrate from the scalp upwards. Its fantastic because Hydration Support targets excessive scalp dryness which i tend to get quite a lot. You'll find that your hair is able to grow thicker and fuller, with a scalp that is healthier and free of build-up.

Each tube of Cleansing Condtioner contains instructions on how to use it and what it does. Hydration Support has a Cleansing Coefficient of 6 out of 10 and a Conditioning Coefficient of 8 out of 10 and finally an Activation Time of 3 Minutes. This basically means that this Cleansing Condtioner is more conditioning than it is cleansing so if you were looking for something more cleansing you would go for Intensive Detox which has a Cleansing Coefficient of 10 out of 10 and Conditioning Coefficient of only 5 out of 10.
You can choose from 20 different cleansing conditioners which all vary in what they do from Anti Brassiness to Anti Aging Support and Colour Support

HiF Hydration Support Cleansing Conditioner Review

I feel like I have to say that yes this is fantastic it cleanses my scalp and my hair fantastically but there is a big but! I don’t feel like I can use this as a one step and I'm done, I don't know if its because 2 shampoos and a condition is so ingrained into me, but I feel like when I use this one its own, my hair still feels really coarse so I have to use my conditioner of choice to combat that.
I have noticed that after using it a few times my hair does feel better and i think thats because my scalp doesn't feel as dry as it did before hand so you have to give it props for that.

If you are into "co-washing" your hair then fantastic this is the brand you should give a go for that very thing but for me personally i dont think i could co-wash my hair as i feel like i need a good shampoo.

I love how the products come in a card box it just looks really well thought out, like it looks pretty high end you wouldn't find something that looks like this at the drugstore.

If you are interested in the concept of Co-washing or if youd like to know more about the products you can visit hif.co/products to find out more about them. The HiF Hydration Support Cleansing Conditioner is £25* and comes in a 180ml bottle which should last you a while if you are only using it once a week.

  3. Sounds good, it's a shame your hair still felt coarse after you used the product though.

Any time a beauty product has the word 'hydra' or hydration in it, it instantly catches my attention. This conditioner sounds awesome. I haven't actually ever colored my hair yet i find that it is so frizzy and lacks hydration.
