You are going to love what Lush is launching this summer! I was invited along to the opening of the new Lush Store on Buchanan Street on Friday, I will say if you live in Glasgow and you haven't been yet go along and check it out its beautiful!
I wasn't really a big Lush fan until recently where I actually got to try a few of their products and quite liked them. We were given a few summer launch products and i thought you guys might be interested in them.
First we have the African Paradise Body Conditioner* which is great for the summer because we all know after a little tanning our skin tends to feel a little dry so this is where this little miracle product comes in handy, All you have to do is use this in the shower like you would a hair conditioner but for your body. Smooth it over wet skin whilst showering, wash off, then towel dry yourself.
D'Fluff* is Lush's new strawberry shaving soap and yes it does smell like real strawberries! its great for men and women who want to shave, it can be used all over the body (Face, Legs, Body or even as a Body Wash) without causing any irritation at all, D'Fluff contains fresh strawberries and cocoa butter to create a gorgeous bit of fluff that leaves you silky smooth. This marshmallowy treat contains coconut oil, golden syrup, and egg whites to create a light whipped texture
Zest* is a medium to strong hold hair gelly which reminds me so much of actual jelly. You can tell where it gets its name from because it has a very citrusy smell to it that will be the fresh organic orange juice, sweet wild orange oil, petitgrain oil, and neroli oil. This hair gelly doesnt make your hair cripsy which i love it gives you a great workable hold its perfect for those of you who are vegan or vegetarian.
I would say this would be more of a product for short hair as its such a strong hold.
Lastly we have something quite new to me as I haven't used these products before, Parsley Porridge Soap* and Magnificent Soap* both have a squishy texture which is really weird for me to be honest. Parsley Porridge Soap has a very herbal smell to it which will be the parsley, thyme, tea tree oil, aloe gel and fine oatmeal for gentle exfoliation, which sound great for those of you who have really dry skin or even oily skin as the soap contains a lot of antibacterial ingredients. The Magnificent soap is more of a orangey lemon smell to it This bar is full of skin cleansing dried mango, zingy Sicilian lemon oil, mandarin oil and serotonin increasing neroli which would be great for a good pamper day if you're feeling a little under the weather
I have to admit i laughed like a child when i heard the name of this next product, Granny Takes a Dip* which is a ginger, pepper and lemon-scented bath bomb turns your water into a psychedelic dream. This is probably one of the biggest bath bombs i've seen Lush too and the great thing is it smells fantastic, yes it might be a bit strong but the scent stays with you and doesn't wear off
What do you think of Lush?

I used to be a big fan of Lush, but not so much now. My skin has changed a lot over the past couple of years and their products, while they smell amazing, don't really suit me any more. I'm happy to hang around their doorway though, inhaling the gorgeous scent!
ReplyDeleteI have never really tried any products from LUSH but will definitely check it out as there seem to be some fab things in there at the moment!
