bareMinerals Prime Time Review

Hey Beauties!

"Discover a new way to wear eyeshadow!"

The opening line is totally true to the product
This little thing is actually quite cool because its like a cream shadow but its also a primer/base shadow. I have used this on a photoshoot and it looks really cool in photoshoots. I had placed a bareMinerals eyeshadow that I was given on top of it and OMG it looked so gorgeous and it did last quite a long time.
The weird thing about this product is it acts like a cream shadow but it sets to that of something that does not move does not crease and you have to use a wipe to get it off

The shadow below is one of the High Shine Eyecolours on top if it and this is what i got, its such a gorgeous colour the colour I put on was Gun Metal Gray.
The colour on its own is quite nice it reminds me of the Illamasqua Liquid Metals in Surge and Phenomena, it  looks a lot like Phenomena as its a Molten Silver

I really like the texutre and the feel. They are soft and easily blendable but there is one thing that would make me never buy them, the price! With the Prime Time "Primer Shadows" you get...3ml thats a tiny amount of product for the price which is £16. ive used this product once and it feels empty already and ive only used a tiny bit. I was given this as a gift from bareMinerals for going to the Opening Party and i thought it was a sample size but no its full sized.

These shadows are avaliable from bareMineral Counters, Boutiques and Online at bareminerals.co.uk

Overall Im torn whether to buy more or not because its such a unique product that sets to something unmoveable and uncrease-able. This product would be great for those of you with oily lids as it sets and will not move.

Should I buy more?
Is £16 worth it?

  3. I got this when it first came out. I loved it so much I went back for the other. So I have the purple and the green one. I can use this primer and not even have to do any shadow work. Love it!

I adore this product, I have this one and a bronze colour which is beautiful. With daily use mine tend to last around 3 months which is not too bad considering the price.

£16 is sooo expensive! I'm sure you could find similar products for cheaper.. or grab an Illamasqua one for the same price, potentially better quality and guaranteed to last much longer!

  14. As great as this sounds, I don't think I would try it. It's far too expensive, in my opinion. Thanks for the review!

  15. Thanks so much for reviewing. I usually just buy cheap primer but have learned through the years that a more expensive primier may work much better. I think you should go ahead and this. Seems like a great product.

NEw follower. Found you through the blog hop.

  16. The colour is stunning. But unless you know you will get a lot of use out of it I wouldn't spend £16 on it as its quite small!!

I have tried these before! I do love the product as well, but I find it hard to justify so much money. I have not repurchased, and I'm still working on the one I have! I found you while blog hopping and I'm now following! Cute blog :)
