How are you all today? I'm having a great day just relaxing and pampering I thought why not just take a break and enjoy myself for a while.
Peels are something that really new to me, a while back, I was quite terrified to be honest of peels, just the idea of the word peel sent shivers down my spin. I didn't quite know how they worked, I just had these ideas of skin peeling off and being all red and sore but when i read up on them they honestly don't seem scary at all because in Peel just means "really good exfoliator" so there isn't really anything to be afraid of because we have all exfoliated before or we should have....

The Microdelivery Overnight Anti-Aging Peel comes in 2 steps, number 1 being the Leave-on Peel Solution containing AHA (Glycolic and Lactic Acid) BHA (Salicylic Acid) and step 2, Youth Extending Night Gel which is a really nice cooling gel that is used afterward. I have been using this for about a week now so that's around 3 times and I haven't had any irritation at all. It's supposed to be gentle anyway, so I wasn't worried about that because id used acids before. Even only with 3 applications I can already feel how smooth my skin is. Usually I get a really dry nose, which means I need to exfoliate a lot of the skin becomes quite bad but when using this my nose feels so smooth and doesn't feel dry at all which is sort of a relief for me and now I'm noticing it, I don't know but my skin is looking a lot less red as well.

The Leave- on Peel Solution contains 3 types of acids, AHA (Glycolic and Lactic Acid) BHA (Salicylic Acid). These acids work to micro-exfoliate the skin to remove dead skin cells. The glycolic acid works on the top most layer of the skin, Lactic Acid works the same as the glycolic, but since the molecular weight of lactic acid is larger the lactic acid stays on the skin surface longer so the micro-exfoliating can continue overnight and the Salicylic Acid works on trying to shrink the large pores.

The Youth Extending Night Gel being step 2 is used after you have applied the peel and is used to soothe the skin and saturate it with anti-ageing ingredients that are in the gel.  Containing a high water content plus silicone to this will help to prevent evaporation of moisture when you're sleeping. The Youth Extending Night Gel is the most amazing smelling thing about this, its like a smell of cucumbers and has a weird texture like jelly it reminds me a lot of the Illamasqua Hydra Veil.

I usually apply this 3 times a week Monday, Wednesday, Friday then give my skin a break during the weekend. The kit comes with a set of 24 pads which are to be used every time you do the peel. I just saturate the pads then sweep it over my face like its shown in the picture above, wait about 2-3 minutes its then time to apply the step 2 generously all over your face and wait for that to sink in then continue with your nightly routine. I would say avoid using other products with acids while using this because it can cause more irritation and most importantly remember to use SPF as AHA's/BHA's can cause sensitivity to the sun causing you to burn easily.
