Hey Beauties!
I feel like this year has gone by so quickly we are nearing the end of March already! Last Thursday i had the pleasure of going along to the Debenhams SS15 Press Show and let me tell you this was the best one yet they pulled out all stops for this. The show itself was in the Gallery of Modern Art in Glasgow, i was really impressed by how it was all set up it looked like a show that you might go to during Fashion Week in London.
I cant wait to try out some of these new launches, as you know im an avid lover of anything skincare, hair and makeup so there were a few things that i really loved like the soon to be launched Murad Blemish Clearing Solution which supposedly heals break outs within 72 hours (Full post here). I also so a massive tub of Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm that was in this really gorgeous sleek silver tub
Makeup launch wise i was rather interested with this pretty cool palette from Two Faced called No Filed Selfie Powders now yes it might seem a bit meh but i really like the idea of it because its something new something i haven't seen before. The palette contains 3 powders: Sunrise, Totally Toasted and Moon River. As you will be able to tell the first is yellow toned so used to brighten up the face just dont go two heavy handed or you will end up looking jaundice (Hint: not a good look) then the 2nd shade looks to be a bronzer type of product and finally we have moon river which said to be for a "Cool Ethereal Light" ....what ever that means?
To be honest there wasn't much in terms of new launches for makeup i thought, the palette above and a few other items what did catch my eye is Illamasqua launching what look like a cross between a NARS Multiple and a Clinique Chubby Stick the one that really stood out for me was one that looked completely black until you tried it on and it was a really nice contour colour....insane i know but it didn't look black when applied it looked like that old green Barry M lipstick looked Green but went on Pink
I also got to see a few people i hadn't seen in ages and a few that i had never met in person before all in all i was pretty happy. I saw Nicole from www.cocomadeherdoit.com , Genna from www.lipstickcrush.co.uk , Amanda from www.honeypopkisses.com , Laura from www.alifewithfrills.co.uk, and Gillian from lipstickandloathing.com
