Hey Beauties!
So after a weeks break im back and feeling refreshed! I thought i would share with you beauties something that ive been loving for the past little while, its the Smashbox Photo Finish Lash Primer and i know its like oh another thing it fork out for but hear me out. This little bad boy is a 10 in 1 primer that not only primes the lashes for the application of mascara it also; -
- Amps-up volume
- Fullest length exposed
- Lifts lashes to new heights
- Makes mascara last longer
- Defines & separates
- Conditions
- Layerable for extra drama
- Improves wear of mascara
- Non-spiking
- Non-clumping
This primer really does do it all, The brush has to be one of the main selling points for me, it has a small moulded bristles on one side and on the other a comb to make sure lashes dont clump together.
The formula reminds me a little of lash fibres because what this primer does is builds up length and volume to the lashes giving them that false lash effect.
When using this mascara use the short bristle side first to brush through your lashes and then use the comb side to comb through your lashes to get rid of any clumpyness then apply your favourite mascara on top. If you ant you can always apply the primer again and the mascara to build up as much volume and length as you want.
I find that when using Smashbox Photo Finish Lash Primer first then using your normal mascara it not only extends the wear of the mascara but it almost makes your mascara better i would say ive notice less flakiness, less transferring under the eyes and just overall the mascara you use just seems better
I used this on a client that I had last week who had short and straight lashes, we were able to build up some considerable length and volume to make it too, like they were here natural lashes.
You can find the Smashbox Photo Finish Lash Primer at any Smashbox counter for £17*

This sounds like a product that actually works. Have you tried Subversion from Urban Decay? I have also heard amazing things about the Dior Lash Primer too. Great review x

I'm currently using the Urban Decay lash primer and I love it! I always thought lash primers were a bit of a gimmick but after seeing the UD one in action I was convinced to buy it. This one looks great too so might have to give it a try when mine runs out! Thanks for the review :)
