Hey Beauties!
Blow-drying your hair can feel like a right chore, if i could pay someone to do i would haha! I dont mind blow drying other people's hair but when it comes to my own i'd rather get it done as fast as possible.
In comes Redken Pillow Proof Express Treatment Primer, a cream, for thick coarse hair that needs extra manageability. I find that even though this product is for thick coarse hair it doesn't weigh dont you hair so i wouldn't worry about that.
Redken claims that Pillow Proof Express Treatment Primer:
- Leaves hair 3x stronger
- Protects from heat up to 230˚
- Helps reduce breakage
- Provides 24-hour lasting volume
I've been using Pillow Proof Express Treatment Primer for a good month now and i can safely say im impressed at first i was really sceptical on how well it would work but i was pleasantly surprised. It's really easy to use, all you need to do is, take the top off, then dispense around 2 to 3 pumps (I only use 1 pump because I have shorter hair) and run it through your hair starting at the ends and working your way up to the root.

If you know me you know how geeky i am, i love to know how products work so i thought i would include a little bit on how the Express Treatment Primer works. It contains Microflex Stylane Technology, which creates a protective thermal blanket on hair for lasting style memory and strength. Trisiloxane and Isododecane help to reduce blow-dry time and achieve a silky-smooth finish.
Usually when i blowdry my hair it takes about 15 minutes to do because my hair is so thick and coarse, I need to spend time getting it smooth which equals more heat damage so i am very thankful to have found this product. Not only does it cut down my blow drying time to around 10 minutes it also makes my hair smoother and easier to manage.
