Hey Beauties!
Kiko really has become such a favourite of mine, since the store opened on Buchanan Street i have literally not left the place haha! Imagine to my surprise scrolling through my snapchat to then find out that Kim Kardashian-West of all people uses the Kiko Scrub and Peel Wipes! I would have never thought she would use something like this but i thought what the hell give them a go and see how well they work
I obviously wanted to try them out and see what the fuss was all about but knowing what would happen i had to go to the Kiko at the Glasgow Fort because they were sold out in the Buchanan Street store....typical isn't it that as soon as Kim K says she likes it they become like gold dust and you can't get a hold of them anywhere!
Each packet of Kiko Scrub and Peel comes with 20 wipes which are double sided, one side has raised bumps used for exfoliation and the other side is smooth to comfort the skin after the exfoliation.
When using these wipes take the raised side and gently run it over your skin like you would with a normal wipe, make sure not to scrub to hard as these are really abrasive! they remind me of the Origins Instant Brightening Pads (Full Review Here)
Each wipe contains a mixture of alpha hydroxy acids in this case Glycolic Acid and Lactic Acid that aid in skin rejuvenation and panthenol which softens and protects the complexion. When using AHA's you will want to make sure you are using a good SPF just as a precaution as AHA's can cause sensitivity to the sun.

I would personally only use these twice a week at most and i would be careful around sensitive skin as these are quite intense which can be a good thing its just all about being careful with what you're putting on your skin. If in the worst case you can't use these on all over your face they make a fantastic lip exfoliator!
You can find the Kiko Scrub and Peel Wipes at Kiko.com and in all freestanding Kiko Stores for only £6!

I love these wipes. I cut off a little square each time as I only use them where I get dry skin around my acne (TMI, sorry). Only use them when I'm desperate and want makeup to sit on my skin well.
ReplyDeleteDo you think they're worth it at £6? Seems a lot for 2o wipes

I wish these wipes would be more suitable for me (I have dry skin), as I've heard a lot about them. Unfortunately, they're more on the pricey side for face wipes and I think I'd rather invest in a face scrub! Loved the post x
ReplyDeleteAs far as wipes go these sound pretty good! Although with dry & sensitive skin, not so much for my skin. I've never tried anything by kiko yet!

These look great - could certainly do with some of these in my life. Added to my list of "must buys".
ReplyDeleteI wish kiko was available in Australia.

Thats such a great idea i never thought of that! thanks x
ReplyDeleteYeah they are totally worth it because if you think about it you are only using the once a week twice at most and with there being 20 wipes thats going to last you a long time!
ReplyDeleteTake the origins pads there are £32 and you get 40 pads so in comparison these Kiko wipes are a steal
I think once you buy them you will realise how good they are. I have dry patches and think they are fantastic i would use them mostly for people with dry skin because they help to scrub away the dead skin cells x
ReplyDeleteYou need to get out there and try something from Kiko they are soo affordable i think youd love them x
ReplyDeleteI had seen wipes like these before the simple wipes i tried them and hated them because they were sore to use and literally burn using them haha so you can imaging how apprehensive i was to be using these but to my surprise they were actually really good!
ReplyDeleteYeah i think if you have sensitive skin these might not be for you unless you just do a little patch test and dont scrub so hard x
ReplyDeleteTotally i think because guys skin is rougher in general these work fantastic at smoothing everything down definitely a must buy
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should give them a little tweet and ask them? x
ReplyDeleteI use theses wipes and I love them xx

I just love Kiko products, they never disappoint! Haven't tried this wipe yet, but I'm guessing it might not be overly suitable for my oily skin. :(

I have been considering giving these a try, but I'm not a huge fan of wipes as a product. Sometime I find them a little harsh on the skin, but these ones do look quite gentle :-)

I love Kiko. I have a lip liner that is my absolute favourite and I'm worried about it running out as it was a limited edition at Christmas :(
ReplyDeleteI keep meaning to pick these wipes up to give them a go but I haven't been into Kiko for agesssssss!
