Hey Beauties!
It's safe to safe this years Valentines was the best for me seeing as I got 2 packages this year, one from Shea Moisture and one from Urban Decay. In the Shea Moisture box I got the cutest balloon and of course the Shea Moisture Restorative Shampoo and Conditioner. If I'm honest I am absolutely but haven't really used the shampoo much as I don't think I could stop using my holy grail of a product that is Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Oil Shampoo
How cute is that balloon! For the past few weeks ive been using the Shea Moisture Restorative Conditioner and I've found that my hair feels much smoother than it did before as I have quite thick, coarse hair needs a lot of moisture so this conditioner was perfect for me!
Shea Moisture describes their Restorative Conditioner as:
"a leave-in or rinse out conditioner that deeply moisturises, detangles and repairs dry, damaged or over-processed hair. Our special blend of organic Shea Butter, nourishing Argan Oil and mineral-rich Sea Kelp is perfect for transitioning chemically treated hair to healthy natural hair."
Shea Moisture Restorative Conditioner contains no sulphates, parabens, no synthetic colours and best of all is cruelty free. I really like this because it seems to be everything I need in the one bottle, it's a colour safe shampoo so you can use it if you get your hair coloured a lot, it also is meant for dry and damaged hair which ticks another box!
This conditioner would be especially good for those of you who have curly hair as it intensely hydrates and conditioners without weighing your hair down which can often mean limp and lifeless hair.
Shea Moisture Restorative Conditioner contains a blend of fantastic hair nourishing ingredients such as: Sea Kelp which nourishes the hair while sealing and smoothing the cuticle, Argan Oil which helps to restore shine while helping to promote the hair's elasticity, and best of all Shea Butter which deeply moisturises while conditioning the hair and scalp.
I often think that packaging can be either make or break sometimes with these types of products as when you're in the shower everything gets a bit slippy and hard to hold but with the Shea Moisture Restorative Conditioner you shouldn't have that problem because it comes with a pump like a hand cream/soap does, i find that this makes it so much easier to dispense the amount of conditioner you need.
I was really impressed with the fact that this conditioner can be used in either dry or wet hair. Obviously don't use it on dry hair if you have really fine hair, but if you have thick coarse hair then go right ahead. When using on dry hair you don't want to use as much as you would when washing your hair just half a pump will do and just smooth it through your ends using it like a leave in conditioner.
You can find the Shea Moisture Restorative Conditioner in Boots stores or online at www.boots.com for £10.99*
This conditioner sounds really nice. My go too is hands down LUSH though. I dont even know the name because I am living in Germany so I buy it in German haha. I just have to give it a sniff :P But it makes my hair happier than it ever has been!
ReplyDeleteI am currently using a conditioner from Syoss which I like - but I preferred that the bottle was more like this one of yours! Syoss bottles are so big and really a pain to use in the shower
ReplyDeleteI love Moroccan Argan Oil shampoos and conditioners.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds amazing. I mainly use Lee Stafford's Blonde line and I absolutely love it. :)
ReplyDeleteI usually use Argan/ Coconut oil conditioners. The ballon is so cute <3
ReplyDeleteI have been using Dove for years and years and I've never tried other conditioners before. This looks promising and would love to try this someday! Thanks for sharing! That balloon is adorable! <3
ReplyDeleteI change conditionner a lot, because I find it difficult to find the good one :)
ReplyDeleteI'll try yours then!
This sounds like a pretty good conditioner - I have really thick hair and people are always commenting on it when I get my haircut that I need to condition more. I do what I can but they are never satisfied! lol
ReplyDeletewith summer coming, hair hydration is a must. I love the fact that it also contains no sulphates, parabens, no synthetic colours and best of all is cruelty free
ReplyDeleteto be honest, I dont use that much of shea butter but maybe I should, my favorite conditioner is Aussie, I know it doesnt have the best ingredients on earth but it really smoothes my hair!

Well you got way more Valentine's gifts than me....and I'm married :-|| I have used the Shea Moisture and I think it's the same conditioner which I find really good but I only use a small amount otherwise it weighs my fine hair down. You need to try their Superfruit hair mask it's my favourite product they do! xx
