Dupe for the NARS Matte Multiple? - Makeup Revolution The One Blush Stick

Makeup Revolution The One Blush Stick

Hey Beauties!

Today im posting about this fantastic dupe from Makeup Revolution, if you think back a few months NARS released the a matte version of their ever loved Multiple, The One Blush Stick in Malibu reminds me of Vientiane or Cappadoce although for me £30 is a bit much to be spending on something no matter but many multiple things it does.

Pigmentation/Colour

The One Blush Stick comes in 4 different colours each containing a matte and shimmery shade the one above is called in Matte Malibu and is the perfect colour for a number of things!  I would usually use this for either contouring as it is a great colour for that or if you blend it down a lot you could even use it as a bronzer its one of those in-between shades of not to warm and not to cool, ive found it works fine both ways.
The Pigmentation is rather impressive I didn't expect much of this but its so creamy and so pigmented you do have to use a light hand when applying but once you have applied it does blend really well and evenly.

Wear Time

Since this is on the creamier side of thing I would suggest maybe just powdering over it once you've applied as it does tend to rub off quite easily but apart from that you dont have to worry about it going anywhere, you can get around 5 hours of wear out of this so generally a work day. I would always suggest layering when using these types of product so apply this tend lightly use your contour powder over the top this sets it but always if the powder rubs off during the day you've still got something underneath it.

Packaging

The packaging of The One Blush Stick is identical to the NARS Multiple right down to the black tube it comes in. I like the fact its in a stick and can be twisted up to be used and then back down again it makes for great use on the go without the need to a brush which can be sometimes cumbersome when you're out and about

Price and Where to Buy

When i saw how much these were its safe to say i was a little impressed. You can purchase the Makeup Revolution The One Blush Stick in Malibu from makeuprevolutionstore.com or from selected Superdrug Stores, the best part? The One Blush Stick is only £5 compared to the NARS Matte Multiple being £30 so you are saving £25 which is a lot of money when you think about it

I refuse to buy ANYTHING from Make Up Revolution because they literally just rip off other brands. They've done it with a Tarte palette, the Too Faced Heart Blushers, Nars Multiples and now Daniel Sandlers watercolour blushers to name just a few-they have zero shame. I get that there is often a big mark up on high end brands-but I CHOOSE to buy them. if I want to pay £30 for a NARS Multiple then it's my decision and my money. If they can produce make up so cheaper why not do something original instead of blatantly copying cult products from other brands? I don't even know how what they do is legal

  3. I've been really interested in the NARS Matte Multiples since they came out, with contouring in mind. I have never tried contouring with anything other than powder so couldn't bring myself to spend the £30 NARS asking price! When I heard about the Makeup Revolution version I got VERY excited! Unfortunately none of my local Superdrug stores stock it so I'm going to have to wait until I next go to Birmingham. I want to be able to swatch before buying, as I'm quite picky with my contour shade! I'll definitely be careful to use a light hand. I like that Makeup Revolution have created the same colours with different finishes, you don't see many brands doing that. Xx

May pick some of these up, I was always interested in the NARS Matte Multiples but I've never splashed the cash on any high end makeup before, still yet to take that step! The pigmentation looks amazing! x

  5. I love these, I use it as a bronzer mainly, but it would make a great contour. :)

  11. You could always order online i know you said youre picky but at only £5 its not like you would be spending £30 on something from NARS you might not like
