I had always heard of Inglot but i had never actually gotten into it and had never tried anything from them until recently. Inglot do this great thing called The Freedom System* which is an empty palette in which you can fill it with different makeup items like Eyeshadows, Face Powders, Blush, Concealer, Brow products etc. I had gotten the chance to try out the 5 pan eyeshadow palette and the 4 pan face palette.
I love the brand now that i have tried things and would love to try more but i do find the site is hard to navigate sometimes and its hard to choose things because there is so much!
Colour and Pigmentation
This eyeshadow palette contains 5 different eyeshadows, its more of a neutral palette than anything else it would be great for an everyday look or for those of you that are makeup artists and need a good neutral/eyeshadow palette.
If you are interested in the eyeshadows in this palette they are: 335, 395, 456, 31, 327. Inglot doesn't do names for eyeshadows just numbers but you will be able to find them on the site. These eyeshadows feel really soft and are really easy to apply. The pigmentation is alright for this palette i think the best has to be the darker brown whereas the others are more of a lid colour/wash of colour
Wear Time
The wear time of these eyeshadows are really good in terms of wear, i use the NARS pro primer and i find when using these 2 things together instead of just the eyeshadow they last much longer, i remember using some Inglot in London when with Jayne's Kitsch and they lasted all day it must have been around 6/7 hours
Packaging
The first thing i need to mention is the obvious comparison between Inglot and MAC these palettes can contain up to 40 different eyeshadows but i was sent the 5 pan, Each eyeshadow contains 2.7g of product which is almost double the weight in a MAC eyeshadow pan (1.5g) and are also more than half the price as well as MAC are £10 and the Inglot shadows are only £4.50. I think what i like best and worst about these palettes is the fact that you can't get your eyeshadows out without great difficulty the magnets are so strong which is a great thing but also rather annoying when you might want to swap some eyeshadows out or rearrange them but you will find that they wont fall out they wont rattle around the palette is very sturdy
Price and Where to Buy
You can purchase these eyeshadows from Inglotuk.com or from any Inglot store that may be in your area. The empty palette is £7 and each eyeshadow is £4.50 to make another comparison to MAC if you were to purchase a MAC 15 pan palette it would be £10 per eyeshadow plus the palette which is around £20 so around £170 for a MAC palette whereas Inglot you will only be paying £55 for a 10 pan palette
What do you think of Inglot?
Have you tried the Freedom System
