Kiko Creamy Colour Comfort Lip Liner Review

Kiko Creamy Colour Comfort Lip Liner Review

Hey Beauties!

Lip Liner seems to be coming back into fashion, gone are the days when lip liner was seen as something you wore when you wanted to protect your lips from feathering. These days brands like Kiko sell lip liners in all different colours, textures and best of all they can be used as a lip colour since they are so soft!

Kiko describes the Creamy Colour Comfort Lip Liner as:

"Long-lasting lip pencil in even, rich colours that precisely outline the lip contour.
The delicate texture glides on and blends easily. This transfer- resistant, waterproof pencil improves the lipstick's hold and never smudges."

Kiko Creamy Colour Comfort Lip Liner Review

I got the colours Fuschia, Orange Red and Tea Rose. I was really impressed when I first used these as they were super creamy, incredibly pigmented and didn't drag on the lips when I was applying them so that meant I could get a sharp and crisp line, once they set they didn't rub off.

Tea Rose which is a pinky nude colour that reminds me a lot of the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk, in fact the design of the liners are a lot like the Lip Cheat liners.

Fuchsia which is obviously a very vibrant pink and is a matte colour i used this one on a bridal client and its not your traditional bridal colour but it seemed to last on her lips quite well seeing as the formula is longwearing and waterproof

Orange Red is the one that kind of threw me a little as it has orange in the title but to me this almost looks like a blue red reminiscent of MAC Russian Red which is a blue based red. Orange Red looks beautiful when applied as not only a lip liner but as a full lip colour.

As you can see below i used the Orange Red on one client, Tea Rose on another in the top left corner and Fuchsia on the client on the bottom right.

You can find the Creamy Colour Comfort Lip Liner (£5.90) in Kiko stores, if you live in Scotland there is a Kiko store at the Glasgow Fort as well as online at kikocosmetics.com

  6. Orange Red looks fantastic! I've never tried Kiko lip liners but I've tried their lip products as a whole. I bet these are not a disappointment; especially since they come in such pretty colours xx

Very new to Kiko, actually bought an eyeshadow last week and was very impressed. I actually prefer liners to lippies, will need to buy one when I'm in next week.

  12. I never used to use lip liners but since I have tried the Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kits I have realised how much easier they make applying lipstick! I now really struggle to apply lipstick without them. These shades look wonderful, I love Kiko products x

  13. I picked up Tea Rose too - such a lovely shade even on its own! I almost wish they were a tiny bit more waxy but to be honest you really can't complain when the formula is so comfortable on the lips xx
