Illamasqua Brow Build Review

Illamasqua Brow Build Review

Hey Beauties!

How are you amazing people today? In Glasgow its a beautiful today there's not a cloud in the sky i guess this is our summer and tomorrow it will be raining again haha!
If you're a long time reader of Beauty and The Boy you'll know i'm a massive fan of the brand Illamasqua. They are launching their spring collection tomorrow (21st April) and I managed to get my hands on a few bits and pieces from the collection. If you like the Brow Gel that Illamasqua do then you're going to love Brow Build.

Illamasqua Brow Build Review

They say brows frame the face and i couldn't agree more, a good brow can change everything for you. Illamasqua Brow Build comes in 4 different colours: Rise (Soft Blonde), Flow (Warm Red Brown), Thrive (Medium Brown) and Amplify (Deep Slate Grey)
Brow Build boosts brows and adds definition in seconds. Its long lasting formula with built in fibres defines and enhances brows, promoting healthy hair growth to achieve a natural shape.

Brow Build reminds me a lot of the Benefit Gimme Brow as that has fibres in it as well. Although similar in concept I have to say I much prefer the Brow Build over Gimme Brow as you get more product in the tube and there's twice as many colours in Brow Build than there is in Gimme Brow.

The great thing about Brow Build is that it helps to create the look of fuller brows so if you struggle with your brows this would be great for you because it gives them a full structured look. Brow Build is also good for those of you who have gaps in your brows you'll find that the fibres in Brow Build will help to fill all the gaps making them look like there is hair where there isn't.

I actually used these when I met up with some blogging friend, I had said about a new launch and everyone wanted to see, I think it's safe to say they were all impressed and liked the idea and the concept of the product.

  1. I am such an eyeliner and lip-gloss kind of girl, because I have no clue what to else to do. But, I am thinking of becoming a bit more adventurous. I am just a bit nervous that it'll mess with my skin. Do you have any recommendations on natural products? This is a great post I wish I knew how to wear make-up.

I always keep my eyebrows natural - your post inspires me to do something a bit more with them.

  3. I'm hopeless when it comes to my brows. I don't have a clue where to start. I bought the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wizz months ago and still haven't gotten round to using it. I do love Illamasqua so this new launch may inspired me to get the under control.

I have never been one to do anything more with my eyebrows other than rarely pluck the occasional stray brow hair. My husband doesn't care for makeup on me, so I just don't bother to wear it very often. It saves me time and money! lol

I feel like I'd make a total mess with these. I can barely handle a powder eyebrow kit.

  6. I love a good eyebrow tint and am actually getting semi permanent treatment for them very soon. I have very gappy eyebrows so I like to fill them in and I would go for a dark brown shade.

Brow tint looks absolutely fabulous. Can't tell ya how much I'm loving these products right now.

  8. Eyebrow are a big deal, the frame is our face. A good eyebrow tint, gel or powder is a must have in every makeup bag. Maybe one day I will try Illamasqua.

I never needed one as I already have fuller brows and I actually never cared for products that can glam them up too. May be I can try one.

  11. I freaking love brow gels, and yet I haven't had one in forever. The Brow Build looks great, though I would have loved to see them on your brows. <3

  12. These look interesting but none of those shades are dark enough for my brows, haha. I like the name though. :)

  13. For me it never worked to choose only one shade , I always get two shades and combine. But with illamasqua looks like deep brown is my color

I have pretty full brows so I don't need to draw them in or anything however when I do my sisters make up I need to do it for her. Might recommend this to her, thanks for sharing.

This is something that my wife would love to have. Too bad that brand is not in the US or I think it's not in the US.

  19. This is my first time to stumble to a beauty blog ran by a boy :)

I've been itching lately to use brow products for my eyebrows for I wanted to add "life" to it but I'm afraid like heck for it may not look nice on me.

  20. I have never used a brow gel before but I love the sound of these. I currently use the HD Brows Palette but I have used it for so long that I think I use it out of habit now rather than because I love it x
