Hey Beauties!
This weekend has been amazing, if you didn't hear Beauty and The Boy won "Best Beauty Blog" at the Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards on Sunday something i never thought would happen. When you start blogging you never think it will come this far its just you sitting in your room posting about the things you like and it just turns into this big amazing thing.
Beauty and The Boy all began because I wanted to help people and now I hope i have an even bigger platform to help more people I just want to go from here and help out as many people as I can if anyone has any questions about anything beauty let me know and I'll do my best to help you.
We were treated to a 3 course meal of which i completely forgot to take pictures of, bad blogger i know but i think my mind was on other things at the time. We did get this amazing strawberry cheesecake for dessert which i could have just eaten 5 of them to myself.
The part that i was nervous for was soon upon us and they started giving out the awards, i can honestly say i dont think ive ever been as nervous, i thought ok i might not win this but if i do then thats great but when they actually said my name i was like wait did they just say my name? I have to give a big shout out to everyone at Miss Bartons Salon on Dumbarton Road because they cheered and shouted so much for me when my name was called, it's such an amazing feeling to know that there are people out there supporting you and pushing you forward.
I think for me its just so insane that i actually won, it means a lot to me as my blog has become such a large part of my life that to be told that i won Best Beauty Blogger means a lot to me. A lot of people might say they dont care about who likes their blog or who reads but deep down you really do want people to like you and your blog i dont care what anyone says you wouldn't write a blog and continually put out new content if you didn't want people to read it.
Its just really hard for me to put into word how grateful i am to everyone to has ever supported me in the past few years. All my readers and subscribers are absolutely amazing and i love each and every one of you, your support means everything to me.
Big shout out to Joanne from SalonNV for organising the awards she always pulls it together fantastically and i have so much respect for what she does!

I think the blogging community in Scotland is so important, we should all stick together as its nice to have people around you who understand what you're going through and what you're doing. I'm so happy and grateful that i get to be involved in this amazing community. I just want to say congratulations to everyone who has even nominated because that's such a big accomplishment in itself because if you think of the 100's if not 1000's of blogs and to be chosen as 1 of 5 of the best blogs in scotland is fantastic
