Sleek MakeUP Brow Stylist Review

Brows these days are a big thing everyone wants to have the best brows i have a saying that "Brows are the Black" so when the Tom Ford Brow Sculptor was launched i really wanted to get it but being nearly £35 i simply couldn't afford it, to be honest i had forgotten all about it until this arrived and i think i've found the perfect dupe that works perfectly everytime!

Colour and Pigmentation

The Sleek MakeUP Brow Stylist* comes in 3 colours: a Light, Medium and Dark which to me isnt that much choice in terms of shades but never the less its still a great product as it is not a warm based product, a lot of drugstore brow products seem to be quite warm but not the Brow Stylist this is a block brown tone perfect for brows. I find it to be quite pigmented i know a lot of brow products are really hard and you have to go over your brows a few times to get the right look but with the Brow Stylist you can either use it harder or lighter depending on what look you're going for. Its quite a waxy product which is good because it will help to keep all the brow hairs in place but i would still use an eyebrow set after.

Wear Time

I dont think there is much to say about the wear time other than it wont come off until you take your makeup off, this is one of those products that tends to last all day. Paired up with something like the Illamasqua Brow and Lash Gel this isnt going anywhere.

Packaging

The packaging of the Brow Stylist is very classy, very sleek you could say. To me it looks like a high end product you could mistake it for the Tom Ford minus the gold ring around it. What i really like about the packaging is the little brow brush at the other end of the pencil its great for brushing through your brows to spread out and even out the product or to just lessen the colour if you apply to much.
I think overall this product has been really well designed apart from one thing and that would be the lettering on the pencil as you cant see it, its embossed onto it in black so thats black on black impossible to read.

Price and Where to Buy

  4. I love this for my brows! I included it in my monthly favourites. I heard it was a dupe for the hourglass one too. I agree about the black on black design it's very had to see.

I need all the help I can get with my thin brows! I currently have a HD Brows palette which I like, and Gimme Brow which I find a little too subtle, but I think I may give this one a try. You can't go much wrong at that price!

  7. I keep seeing this and wondering what its like, I do think the colours may be a bit too warm for my colouring, but I'm sure I'll cave at some point. Great review!
