Hey Beauties!
Happy New Year! i hope you are all doing good and had a great time over the holidays. Today i wanted to talk about the Macadamia Oil Deep Repair Mask, a fantastic mask for those of you with dry and damaged hair but really anyone can use it and benefit from it in my opinion.
Macadamia Oil Deep Repair Mask contains a mixture of macadamia oil, argan oil, tea tree oil, chamomile oil, aloe and algae extracts to help rejuvenate damaged hair, leaving it deeply nourished for improved elasticity and shine. I read a few of the benefits of using this and these 2 stood out for me, its supposed to prolong your colour treatments and stop them from fading and its also supposed to speed up hair drying time by up to 50% i am not really too sure if this actually happens seeing as i have short hair but it would be good to see how it works on longer hair.
I started using this a few weeks back and wanted to keep using it for a while. Its said to be a firm favourite of Kate Bosworth she uses it to keep her hair in amazing condition so i wanted to see if it lived up to its reputation, I only applied this once a week even though it does say use twice weekly i thought any more than that would be a bit excessive and unneeded in my opinion. I use this after i have shampooed my hair when its still wet i use a comb to apply it liberally though my hair concentrating on the ends so that the least amount is at the root where the virgin undamaged hair is. It says keep it on for 7 minutes but i think you could keep it on as long as you wanted then wash it off you dont even need any heat with this mask either which is always good. The mask does have a weird texture as its really thick almost tacky but that doesn't stop you combing it though because its really easy to apply
The results of this mask where actually quite impressive my hair is usually quite dry and i found that using this made my hair incredibly soft and also gave it a really nice healthy shine which we all want. In the long run i feel like this has actually helped my hair ive been using it a good few weeks now and my hair feels softer, doesn't feel as dry and it just generally looks better.
If you are interested in this mask Professionals can buy this at Capital Hair and Beauty for £14.70 ex VAT but if you are a non-professional you can find this on lookfantastic.com for £19.16. I would consider this a high end mask it is quite expensive but worth it as you dont need much when using it and it does come with 250ml

My hair loves this, if I don't use it too regularly, if I use it too much, my hair feels really greasy x

ReplyDeleteI love this, and I have found a really great dupe that costs just £1.99 from Home Bargains. It is exactly the same in texture, scent and packaging!

I have been seriously considering buying this mask for months because my hair is my most-looked-after body part. I also found a cheap dupe in Home Bargains/B&M which is amazing but have still been considering purchasing this. As a wee cheapo student I can't justify that much money on a hair mask just yet but maybe in the future. Another fab post Andrew! xo
